CEMSEA Member Appointed to the California EMS Commission

It is our sincere honor to announce that one of our members, Amanda Ward, Associate Dean of Public Safety, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic Programs was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to the California EMSA Commission to serve a three year term as the Public Member.  As a member of CEMSEA, and Chair of our Government Affairs Committee, Amanda has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the challenges EMS educators face in public and institutionally accredited programs.  We are pleased that her efforts have been recognized by state officials and offer our support as she begins her term as the newest EMS Commissioner.
